We provide various health and wellness programs to help you and your family in your journey to better health. Classes and programs address nutrition, healthy lifestyles, physical activity, chronic conditions including diabetes and cardiovascular disease, and emotional and mental health. Programs offered in English and Spanish.
We offer free health screenings including blood pressure, A1c, glucose, cholesterol and BMI to the community. Contact us if you’re interested in providing free health screenings to the community.
You’re having a baby! Whether it’s your first baby or you are an experienced mother, we can offer some extra support and assistance through our Welcome Baby Program. Welcome Baby is a free, voluntary home visiting program for all mothers who live within a five-mile radius of California Hospital Medical Center and give birth at our facility.
We believe your emotional and mental health are just as important as your physical health. We offer hands-on practical trainings that teaches participants strategies and skills to identify and manage stressors and build resilience. Trainings are offered in English and Spanish.
Emotional well-being support groups to help recover through mutual support, coping strategies and education. Facilitated in English and Spanish.
A leader in Los Angeles County's home visiting landscape, the LA Best Babies Network (LABBN) partners with county agencies to build and expand helpful services for families. LABBN provides the tools and training to make perinatal and early childhood home visiting programs succeed.
CA Bridge program saves lives by making it possible for people who use drugs to get treatments at any hospital - whenever and wherever they need it. Patients engage with a navigator to discuss harm reduction and ongoing treatment, and connect them to resources as needed.
At Dignity Health, we are committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care to the communities we serve. If you don't have health insurance, our financial counseling staff is here to help you to find and access government or private programs that may help you pay for health care.
Our team of experts can help you navigate the application process for Medi-Cal, Covered California, or other health access programs. We can also help you understand the different types of plans available, so you can make an informed decision about the plan that best meets your needs.
