California Hospital Medical Center Foundation welcomes new Board of Directors leadership

LOS ANGELES - - California Hospital Medical Center Foundation is pleased to announce the election of new leadership to its Board of Directors, bringing fresh expertise and continued commitment to advancing health care excellence in our community.

Eileen ConnChair: Eileen Conn, CPM

Conn, Principal at Charles Dunn Real Estate Services, Inc., has served as a board member since 2016. Conn brings more than 25 years of distinguished experience in property, portfolio  and asset management of commercial real estate to her new role.

As Principal at Charles Dunn Real Estate Services, Inc., Conn oversees a diverse portfolio of assets throughout Los Angeles, managing over 12 million square feet of commercial real estate. She leads a team of talented property and portfolio management professionals while handling daily operations and business development at the corporate level. Conn is recognized as an expert in asset operational systems, tenant services and value-add management strategies.

Wendy OnVice Chair: Wendy On, CPA

On joined the board in 2018 and brings exceptional financial leadership as Managing Partner at Fineman West, a leading accounting and advisory firm. With more than 25 years of experience in public accounting, On specializes in guiding companies through complex financial landscapes, including growth planning, operational efficiency and exit strategies. Her cross-industry expertise spans manufacturing, consumer goods, technology, real estate, entertainment and professional services. On currently serves on the Advisory Board for TAG Alliances, one of the largest multidisciplinary global alliances of independent accounting and law firms, and has been recognized by Los Angeles Business Journal as one of the Top 100 Accountants, Women of Influence in Accounting, and Top Minority CPAs in the Los Angeles area.

Carlton JenkinsSecretary: Carlton J. Jenkins

Jenkins joined the board in 2018 and serves as President of the Financial Services Group at MJC Partners, LLC, where he provides strategic oversight to professionals serving financial services clients. A career financial services executive, Jenkins has been a Founder or Co-Founder at two minority-owned banks while also serving as Chairman, President & CEO of one of the most successful minority-owned banks in the country. His leadership extends to numerous corporate and non-profit organizations focused on entrepreneurship, job creation, capital formation, community economic development and social services.

The CHMC Foundation Board of Directors also welcomes two accomplished new members whose diverse expertise will further strengthen governance:

Edward KeyesEdward Keyes

Keyes, Senior Vice President at CIA Consulting Group, brings over 15 years of experience in wealth and leadership advisory services, with previous roles at Wilmington Trust, Boston Private Bank, and RSM McGladrey in Los Angeles. Keyes has spearheaded financial guidance for ultra-high net worth and institutional clients, providing bespoke financial investment and trust solutions. He holds significant experience working with non-profit organizations, entertainment, and education industries. Keyes earned his Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics and Master of Arts in Communications Management at USC's Annenberg School, and remains active with HARK Children's Hospital, Association of Corporate Growth (ACG) and the USC Black Alumni Association.

Theresa MartinezTheresa Martinez

Martinez, President/CEO of Community Connections, LLC, contributes more than 25 years of expertise in grassroots community outreach across Los Angeles and Orange Counties. Martinez has successfully organized and managed large public outreach and engagement programs, including high-profile events for the Los Angeles Latino Chamber of Commerce. She founded the non-profit National Latina Business Women Organization, serving as National President, and currently serves as a commissioner on the Hospital Supplier Diversity Commission and as a Board Director for Wall Las Memorias and the Hispanic Coalition of Small Business (HCSB).
