California Hospital Medical Center names new Chief Medical Officer Debi Siljander, MD 

 

LOS ANGELES (July 8, 2022) — Dignity Health - California Hospital Medical Center (CHMC) is pleased to announce that Debi Siljander, MD, has joined CHMC as Chief Medical Officer. Prior to CHMC, Dr. Siljander served as Chief Clinical Transformation Officer at Natividad Medical Center, Director of Musculoskeletal Medicine and Faculty at the Family Medicine Residency affiliated with University California San Francisco, and Chief Medical Officer at Mee Memorial Hospital. Preceding Natividad, she was Medical Director of Together Health Network (THN), a Michigan statewide clinically integrated network consisting of 26 hospitals and 6,500 providers powered by two national health care systems, Trinity Health and Ascension Health. 

CHMC's new Chief Medical Officer Dr. Debi SiljanderAdditionally, Dr. Siljander was Director of Clinical Integration at Beaumont Health System and Faculty at the Family Medicine Residency affiliated with Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine. She has also served as Medical Director of Monterey Physicians Medical Group and MedQuan Sports Medicine, PC. Dr. Siljander is Fellowship Trained in Sports Medicine and Board Certified in Family Medicine and has been a practicing for more than 15 years. She has been actively involved in the development and implementation of healthcare transformation initiatives, leading clinical integration focusing on quality, access, and efficiency of care delivery to optimize patient care and experience while ensuring care team empowerment and success in the quadruple aim. As a native of Southern California, Dr. Siljander is looking forward to becoming part of the CHMC team and serving our patients and community.
