California Hospital rated five stars for its clinical excellence
LOS ANGELES (November 15, 2024) – California Hospital Medical Center announced it has achieved accolades for clinical excellence from Healthgrades, the No. 1 site Americans use when searching for a doctor or hospital.
California Hospital has been rated five stars for treatment of:
- Heart failure for 13 years in a row
- Sepsis for six years in a row, and
- Diabetic emergencies.
A five-star rating indicates that the hospital’s clinical outcomes are statistically significantly better than expected when treating the condition or performing the procedure being evaluated.
“We’re honored to be recognized as one of the nation’s highest-ranking hospitals for our cardiac and critical care specialties by Healthgrades,” said Dr. Debi Siljander, CHMC's Chief Medical Officer.
