Department of Medicine Vice Chair shares why she gives back
We are pleased to share that our new four-story patient tower is nearing completion and will be opening later this year. This is a major milestone for our patients, our hospital and our community. The hard work and dedication of our employees and physicians have made this possible. Dr. Suman Radhakrishna, Vice Chair of the California Hospital Medical Center Department of Medicine and Medical Committee Chair of Infectious Diseases, shares why she gives back through philanthropy.

"As an infectious disease doctor, I've witnessed the profound impact of health care inequalities and infectious disease threats on vulnerable communities,” says Dr. Radhakrishna. “Giving back isn't just a choice; it's a responsibility that transcends the boundaries of our medical expertise. In extending our knowledge and compassion to those in need, we not only heal and provide hope, but also fortify the resilience of the communities we care for. The new patient tower will help us achieve our mission of more just and equitable health care, creating a healthier community for all."
For donors making one-time contributions of $1,500 or more to the Your City, Your Hospital campaign, we plan to recognize your generosity with personalized tiles located in a garden walkway outside of the new patient tower. Learn more about how you can pledge to receive a personalized donor tile at SupportCaliforniaHospital.org/Personalized-Donor-Tiles.
